Actress Koneenica Banerjee recovering post-surgery

Popular Bengali actress Koneenica Banerjee, who is in Chennai for urgent medical treatment, is on her road to recovery. She has been suffering from some issues in the spinal cord and underwent critical surgery on Monday at a hospital in Chennai. The actress was initially admitted to ICU after the surgery and now, has been shifted to a cabin yesterday. She is out of danger and slowly recovering, as per sources.
Koneenica took a break from her shooting schedule and went to Chennai last week for urgent medical treatment. The actress was reportedly suffering from stiff pain in the spinal cord and doctors suggested an immediate surgery.
Meanwhile, messages for her speedy recovery have been pouring in for Koneenica, who is hugely popular among her industry peers. Known for her natural acting talent and playing versatile characters, Koneenica is currently busy with television serial ‘Aay Tobe Sohochori’. Her co-stars are in touch with the actress and eagerly waiting for Koneenica’s return. The actress is playing the female lead in the show that stars actor Indrajit Chakraborty as the male lead. Actress Arunima Halder is essaying Barfi, who is protagonist Sohochori’s friend-turned- bahu rani. In her absence, the makers have introduced a different track in ‘Aay Tobe Sohochori’. The team had an emotional moment before Koneenica attended the shooting before flying to Chennai for the surgery. She has been advised to take complete rest and the actress is expected to return to the shooting floor post her full recovery.
Koneenica is one of the most popular actresses of Tollywood, who has been striking a fine balance between her TV projects and movies.
