Actress Indrani Halder to host a game show

Here’s a piece of good news for all the admirers of actress Indrani Halder. The senior artist is all set to feature in a television show. Indrani, who left the audience mesmerised yet again by playing the role of a middle-aged housewife in her previous daily soap ‘Sreemoyee’, will feature in a non-fiction show. She will be seen in a brand new avatar in her new project.The actress will host a game show on a leading TV channel that airs ‘Didi No. 1’.
After ‘Sreemoyee’, starring Tota Roychoudhury, Sudip Mukherjee, Ushasie Chakraborty in prominent roles, concluded its journey on TV, the actress wasn’t seen in any shows. Meanwhile, she forayed into OTT platform and shot for a web-based project which will stream soon.
Recently rumours were making rounds that the actress is likely to feature in a television show again. Rumours also suggested that a rival channel is keen on casting her in a new show.
Keeping Indrani’s popularity among the audience, especially female viewers in mind, the channel was eager to cast her as a host of their upcoming non-fiction show. However, both Indrani and the makers were tight-lipped about it. The actress recently shot for the promo.
