Khyapa, directed by Korok Murmu, is ready to entertain the viewers with its fourth edition. The series, which will premiere tomorrow (July 14) on a leading OTT platform, has an interesting star cast besides Arya Dasgupta and Pushan Dasgupta, the series will also feature senior artist Debleena Dutt in a prominent role. The actress, who has been in this industry for a long time and impressed the viewers by playing versatile roles, will essay a completely different character in the series. She will play Mariam Murshidabadi. Apparently, she is a lady don who doesn’t hesitate to hold a gun and point it at others. But there is more to the story.
Although viewers have seen the actress playing different characters in her career, Mariam has a different touch altogether.
Meanwhile, the fourth season of the series will follow friends Khyapa and Chingri who want to start a new life in Kolkata again. They desperately search for jobs after completing engineering degree. The marks were so poor that they are turned down by all the organizations. Seeing no other option, they start living in a slum. Khyapa develops a food delivery app and Chingri opens a fast food centre. Destiny takes a different turn as they get involved in a drug cartel. What happens next will form the major crux of the story.
