Actress Debchandrima Singha Roy bags a new project

Bengali actress Debchandrima Singha Roy’s career seems to be on the right track. The actress has been a part of a number of popular daily soaps starting from Raj Chakraborty produced ‘Kajollata’, comedy-drama ‘Tekka Raja Badshah’, ‘Sanjher Baati’ to name a few. She also made her debut in a Dev and Rukmini Maitra starrer. And now the actress has yet another meaty project in her kitty.She will soon be seen in a web series.
The OTT project is directed by Sayantan Ghoshal. It is thriller series that has a very strong cast. The series will star Sohini Sarkar, Parno Mittrah, Arjun Chakravarty, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Sourav Das, Judhajit and Sabuj Bardhan. Debchandrima will essay a prominent role in this new web series titled ‘Homestay Murders’.
The actress is all excited about her new venture. Debchandrima has mostly played a girl next door in her television shows. But the upcoming OTT project will feature her in a completely different avatar. She will play a bubbly girl who is quite a social media enthusiast. The main story of ‘Homestay Murders’ will revolve around tourists, who meet each other during the vacation. An otherwise cheerful travel turns into a nightmare when one of them is murdered.
On the small screen front, Debchandrima was last seen in TV show ‘Saheber Chithi’, has a new project in her kitty. Viewers are eager to see the actress in a new show. Meanwhile, she is in a holiday mood and ringing her birthday away from the city amid lush natural beauty.
