Actress Debashree Roy to be seen in an upcoming TV show

Here's good news for all the Bengali television viewers. Film actress Debashree Roy, who was away from the limelight, will soon be seen on television. Industry sources suggest she will play a prominent role in an upcoming daily soap produced by Snehasish Chakraborty. Earlier, actress Indrani Dutta made a comeback on television with one of the TV shows produced by him.
She was seen on the small screen after a long time on the reality show ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 2’, featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Dev and Monami Ghosh as the judges.She was the special guest in the Holi-special episode. The actress set the stage ablaze with her dance moves and oozed charm. Prior to this, Debashree took part in one of the special episodes of ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’, hosted by Sourav Ganguly.
Debashree, who proved her acting mettle both in commercial and critically acclaimed movies, was busy with her political career in the last few years. She took a break from her acting career and maintained a distance from showbiz. Other than politics, yet another thing, kept the actress busy. Debhashree is also an animal right activist and has been actively always forward in case of protecting animals.
