Actress Chandreyee Ghosh bags a meaty role in ‘Agni Sikha’

Bengali actress Chandreyee Ghosh has bagged a new television project. She will soon be seen playing a meaty role in ‘Agni Sikha’. Chandreyee will play a lady who runs an NGO. Her organisation rescues village belle Sikha. Chandreyee will be seen playing a much older character in the show.
The actress is excited about her new project. The shooting has already begun.She is known for her versatile performance in film and TV shows.
Chandrayee was last seen in the period-drama ‘Ami Sirajer Begum’ playing Ghaseti Begum’s role. The show starred Sean Banerjee and Pallabi Dey as Siraj-Ud-Daulah and Lutfunnisa Begum. Though the high-budgeted television serial couldn’t show its wonder on the TRP charts, Chandreyee’s performance was appreciated by the audience.
Coming back to ‘Agni Sikha’, the soon-to-be-launched show will star a fresh lead pair. Actors Sourya Bhattacharya and Aratrika Maity will play the lead roles. ‘Agni Sikha’ will narrate the love story of a tribal girl and a rich guy. Bikram’s dad is a corrupt person who promises to work for the well-being of the villagers. But he has some other motives in mind. Bikram meets beautiful village belle Sikha and falls for her. The duo gets married secretly but Bikram’s family doesn’t approve of their relationship. Sikha comes to the city to find her husband. ‘Agni Sikha’ will be launched on January 25.
