Actress Arpita Mondal bags a meaty role in Krishnakoli

Television actress Arpita Mondal, who became a household name playing Maa Sarada’s character in ‘Jagat Janani Maa Sarada’, has bagged a meaty role in popular family-drama ‘Krishnakoli’. She will be seen playing a negative character in this show.
Before 'Krishnakoli', she was seen in daily soaps ‘Kunjochaya’ and ‘Bijoyini’. Arpita is known for her powerful acting and has always experimented with her on-screen characters.She broke her mold and played negative characters right after playing such an iconic character in ‘Jagat Janani Maa Sarada’. She was highly praised for taking the risk of getting out of an image and convincingly paying an antagonist.
Interestingly, in Tiyasha Roy (as Shyama) and Neel Bhattacharjee (playing Nikhil) starrer 'Krishnakoli', she will be seen playing Sohini’s character. Sohini is appointed by protagonist Shyama’s enemy Ramen. Sohini, an actress by profession, will soon be seen joining Shyama’s music troupe and start materializing a new conspiracy. Arpita will be seen in saffron saree, with roshokoli on her forehead.
The actress is elated to play the character. With her entry, ‘Krishnakoli’ is certainly awaiting some major twists. The show has a strong cast which includes Shankar Chakraborty, Nibedita Mukherjee, Priyanka Halder, Rimjhim Mitra, Koushik Bhattacharya, Vivaan Ghosh and others.
