Actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee misses ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ days

When Bengali television was dominated by female-centric daily soaps, ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ featured a strong male character. The show undoubtedly helped actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee enjoy huge popularity. He played a dual role and was praised for his performance in the show.
Though the actor has done a few films earlier ‘Bhojo Gobindo’, the comedy drama introduced him to the audience.Though the show went off-air after having a successful run of more than one year, Rohaan still considers it to be quite close to his heart.
Away from his routine shoot life, Rohaan is majorly missing the show and the moments spent on the shooting floor of ‘Bhojo Gobindo’. He has shared a behind-the-scenes photo on his social media handle, which was taken on the shooting set of ‘Bhojo Gobindo’.

Bengali television serial ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ wooed the audience with its comedy flavour. The show became an instant hit; thanks to the strong star cast, actor Rohaan’s comic timing and his chemistry with Swastika Dutta.
Giving a break to the ongoing saas-bahu dramas, ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ brought something fresh to the Bengali TV viewers. Its rerun amid lockdown was also enjoyed by the audience. The success of ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ prompted the makers to launch the show in Hindi. ‘Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki’ was the Hindi remake of ‘Bhojo Gobindo’.
After ‘Bhojo Gobindo’, he bagged the non-fiction show ‘Super Singer Junior’ followed by another comedy drama ‘Koler Bou’. But viewers still fondly recall him as Bhojohori.
