‘Jiban Jyoti’ was launched in March. The family-drama is based on an innocent girl Jyoti (Aindrila), who is a martial art expert. She is honest and a brave heart. Ravi is seen essaying the character Siddhartha, who comes from abroad to his ancestral home. The story revolves around Siddhartha and Jyoti.

According to reports, the show was scoring quite low on TRP charts for quite sometime. The actors had no idea about the drastic decision. Another television serial ‘Sanyasi Raja’ will also go off-air soon. A number of new serials will hit the small-screen replacing these serials.
