Actor Rajiv Bose joins the cast of TV show ‘Uma’

Popular actor Rajiv Bose has another television project in his kitty. Rajiv, whose show ‘Bouma Ekghor’, is going to end its journey soon, has bagged another TV serial. He has joined the cast of daily soap ‘Uma’. He is playing the character Bikrambeb Chowdhury, who is a business tycoon.
According to the story, Bikramdeb sponsors the cricket team headed by captain Uma.He also makes Uma the brand ambassador of his company. While his investment in the team brings a lot of joy to all the cricket players in Uma’s team, Bikramdeb’s entry will certainly add some major twists to the story.
The makers are determined to spice up the drama by bringing in the tried and tested formula of look-alikes. According to the new track, Bikramdeb’s wife, who is missing, looks just like Uma. His daughter Tinni longs for mother’s love. The little girl is mistaken by the similarity Uma shares with her mother. Bikramdeb requests Uma to help him for Tinni’s sake which lands our cricketer bahu rani in deep trouble.
With this new track, audiences can expect some emotional scenes and drama in the upcoming episodes of 'Uma' which features Neel Bhattacharya and Shinjinee Chakraborty as the lead pair.
Speaking about Rajiv, the actor is a popular face on Bengali television. He has been a part of many shows including ‘Krishnakoli’, ‘Titli’, ‘Irabotir Chupkotha’ and many others. Rajiv, along with wife Mohini, was recently seen in the recently concluded celebrity-based reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’, hosted by superstar Jeet. He joined the cast as wildcard contestant. However, Rajiv and Mohini got eliminated sooner than expected from the show which crowned Susmita and Sourav Saha as the winners.
