After Sweta Bhattacharya and Soumitrisha Kundoo, yet another popular artist from Bengali small screen will soon step into silver screen. We are talking about actor Neel Bhattacharya. He will team up with actors Darshana Banik and Sourav Das for his first movie. It will also have actress Dibyasha Das essaying a meaty role.
Neel, who turned a year older today (June 8), is all excited about the new project which will hit the floor shortly. It’s a romantic flick, directed by Nilanjan Mukherjee, that will revolve around friends who were separated after college. After a few years, they reunite for a road trip.
Neel is a very popular actor of Bengali small screen industry. He is currently busy with TV show ‘Bangla Medium’, starring his ‘Krishnakoli’ co-star Tiyasha Lepcha as the female lead. The model-actor stepped into showbiz with the show ‘Thik Jeno Love Story’, a romantic drama that introduced actress Sairity and Neel to the audience. Later, he went on to feature in daily soap ‘Stree’, followed by ‘Krishnakoli’. The success of ‘Krishnakoli’ made him a household name along with a huge fan following. Neel has featured in a number of music videos including a romantic song by singer Shaan that also featured his wife Trina Saha.
Interestingly, Trina has already made her big screen debut and some of her upcoming movies will premiere soon. Now hubby Neel is set for his silver screen project.
