Actor Joyjit Banerjee joins the cast of ‘Rani Rashmoni’

Popular Bengali actor Joyjit Banerjee has yet another project in his kitty. Joyjit, who has played versatile roles on-screen, is set to play something different this time. The actor has joined the cast of popular television serial ‘Rani Rashmoni’. He will be seen essaying the character ‘Donald Saheb’ in this period-drama.
From his costume to body language everything will be different.Joyjit, who is known for his natural acting skills, is working hard to get into the skin of the character. he is enjoying every bit of his new project.
Joyjit stepped into the showbiz quite young. The passionate actor has been a part of many television shows and telefilms. ‘Nakshi Kantha’, ‘Phagun Bou’, ‘Shubho Drishti’, ‘Joy Kali Kalkattawali’ are some of the recent shows in which Joyjit played meaty roles. He was also a part of the Bengali version of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
With Joyjit’s entry, ‘Rani Rashmoni’s story is set to take an interesting turn. The show starring Ditipriya Roy in the titular role is one of the most successful television shows on television. The period-drama is scoring well in terms of TRP and mostly seen in the top three positions on the TRP charts. It has a strong cast which includes Gourab Chatterjee, Diya Chakraborty, Biswabasu Biswas, Sourav Saha and many others. Ditipriya, a teenager in real-life, is convincingly playing a much-older role on-screen.
