Actor Indrasish Roy and wife Souravi test positive for COVID

Roy, who is currently playing the lead role in TV show ‘Dhulokona’, has tested positive for

COVID

. His wife Souravi has also tested positive for the virus. Both the actor and his wife are in home isolation. Sharing the news of his current condition on social media handle, Indrasish has requested all those who came in close contact with him or Souravi, to get immediately tested.

The couple is in home isolation. They have mild symptoms and are following the advice of doctor. Wishes for his speedy recovery have been pouring in.

Indrasish is playing the male lead in Leena Gangopadhyay’s TV drama ‘Dhulokona’. He is paired opposite actress Manali Manisha Dey in the show.

Meanwhile, the spike in COVID cases in entertainment industry has become a serious reason to worry. Earlier yesterday, actress Adrija Addy Roy, who is playing the female lead in social-drama ‘Mou Er Bari’, has tested positive. She has fever,

sore throat

and a few other symptoms. Adrija is in home isolation. Besides her, a number of other actors from both television and film industry have been infected by the virus. This week, Reshmi Sen, her son, Mimi Chakraborty, Dev, Rukmini Maitra, Sreelekha Mitra, Raj Chakrabory, and his wife Subhashree Ganguly have tested positive. Sourav Ganguly’s daughter Sana also tested positive although Dona tested negative for the virus. Sana and Sourav are currently in isolation.
