Actor Honey Bafna critically injured; to undergo a surgery

Popular actor Honey Bafna, who rose to fame with the popularity of daily soap ‘Bokul Kotha’ has been critically injured. He has deep wound in his hand and was rushed to the hospital because of bleeding. According to sources, the wound was so deep that it needed 20 stitches. The incident took place at Honey’s home.
The actor was reportedly trying to take out some objects that were kept at a certain height. Honey took the help of a chair to reach the area. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell. Nearby, there was a table with a glass top, which immediately broke. Because of the pieces of broken glass, Honey sustained deep injury in his hand. It also caused internal injury because of which, there was a heavy bleeding.
After stitching, the bleeding has stopped but doctors have advised Honey to undergo a surgery because of the internal injury caused by the accident. The actor is likely to undergo the surgery soon.
Honey, whose new project ‘Shyama’ has just started its journey on a popular Bengali television channel, is unable to attend shooting because of the deep injury and stiff pain. He has been advised by the doctors to take bed rest and resume shooting after the surgery.
The actor is playing the male lead in the recently launched television drama for which he teamed up with actress Tupma Ghosh. The show also features actress Madhubani Goswami as Maa Tara. Shyama’s story is likely to take a different turn to compensate for Honey’s absence.
Meanwhile, Honey’s friends, industry peers and co-stars are praying for his speedy recovery. The actor is likely to undergo the surgery today.
Incidentally, yet another popular artist from Bengali television industry, also suffered a critical surgery. We are talking about Rubel Das, who got injured while shooting for an action-packed sequence for his show ‘Neem Phuler Modhu’. Both his ankles were fractured and Rubel was advised to take complete bed rest. The actor however, continued working from home. A separate unit used to visit his house at Barasat, North 24 Parganas to shoot for the necessary sequences. Rubel has just joined the team and started shooting from the sets of Neem Phuler Modhu.
