Bhaswar Chatterjee recently underwent gallbladder surgery. The actor suffered sharp pain and was rushed to a private hospital where he was diagnosed with a stone in gallbladder. Doctors suggested an immediate surgery to remove the stone. Bhaswar is keeping well after the surgery and has been discharged from the hospital yesterday. He has been advised to take complete rest for some time.
Bhaswar, on the other hand, is eager to go back to the shooting floor as soon as possible.
He is playing a prominent character in the recently launched show ‘Sree Krishna Bhakto Meera’, starring Debadrita Basu (as
Meera), Prarabdhi Singha (as Sree Krishna) and Joey Debroy (as Bhoj Raj). Bhaswar's health issue left his co-stars and industry peers worried. Friends, industry colleagues and fans have been praying for his speedy recovery as well.
On the career front, Bhaswar has been a part of several TV shows, telefilms and movies. In his current project, Bhaswar is playing a character which has grey shades and sporting an interesting look.
Bhaswar stepped into the showbiz quite young and known for his versatile acting skills. Prior to ‘Shree Krishna Bhatko Meera’, he featured in ‘Mohor’, ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ in the recent past. Bhaswar also played the titular role in ‘Joy Baba Lokenath’ and left the audience impressed with his performance yet again. The show was quite popular among the viewers and used to score well on the TRP charts.
