A star is named after late actor Abhishek Chatterjee; wife Sanjukta and daughter feel overwhelmed

A star has been named after late artist Abhishek Chatterjee. This is the first time, a star has been named after a Tollywood actor. Abhishek’s wife Sanjukta and daughter Saina are all overwhelmed by the gesture. They have expressed gratitude towards Soumen Chatterjee, producer of Abhishek’s last film who made it happen. Through the help of an astronomical organisation from the US, Soumen had fulfilled the wish and named a star after the late actor that especially shines for Saina and Sanjukta.
The news has left Abhishek’s fans and industry peers equally happy.
Abhishek was one of the most popular artists of Tollywood and was a part of many Bengali films. He had worked with all the leading ladies of his time in films. Later, the senior artist started doing television shows.
The ace actor passed away this year on March 24 reportedly after suffering a massive heart attack. He wasn’t keeping well around that time. Abhishek and his wife Sanjukta went to attend the shoot of the couple-based reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’ which was not launched back then. Abhishek’s situation deteriorated at the set and he came back home. Later at night, he passed away. His demise left all his co-stars and industry peers deeply saddened. Besides the couple-based reality show which also features other real-life couples, he was also a part of daily soap ‘Khorkuto’. He used to play a medical practitioner in the show.
