A heart-warming surprise from co-stars leaves Simran Upadhyay emotional

Koel aka Simran Updhyay turned a year older yesterday (May 15). The birthday girl was up for a surprise as her on-screen family members from the show ‘Ke Apon Ke Por’ had a special plan for her. Actors Anindita Raychaudhury, Indranil Chatterjee, Soumi Paul, Biswajit Ghosh, Anannya Biswas, Avrajit Chakraborty, Kalyani Mondal Payel Deb Suvajit Kar, Liza Sarkar and Pallavi Sharma decided to make her feel special amid the lockdown.
The actors recorded a heartwarming video message for Simran which left her all emotional. The actress felt overwhelmed by the sweet gesture and thanked her co-stars whom she considers as her family.

‘Ke Apon Ke Por’, launched in 2016, has been one of the most successful shows on Bengali television. The storyline revolves around Joba (played by Pallavi) and Param (played by Biswajit) and their joint family. Ke Apon Ke Por’s Sengupta family is quite popular among the audience. The family members share a strong bond in real life too. In between the shots, the actors engage in adda and have fun on the shooting sets.
