Sahil celebrates birthday with family after six years: It's a double celebration for Sahil Anand today — the actor will be ringing in his birthday along with the New Year! The actor, who was last seen in Ek Nayi Ummeed — Roshni, was planning to celebrate his birthday in Hong Kong. However, he canned the idea when his mother expressed a desire to be with him on his birthday. “I’m from Chandigarh and I make it a point to visit my parents as often as possible. But I haven’t been able to spend my birthday with them for the past six years. This time, when my mom asked me to, I couldn’t say no to her. So, I put aside my Hong Kong plan,” says Sahil.

The whole cast and crew of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had planned a surprise cake cutting for me.” When asked about the gifts he received from the family, the actor says, "I don't believe in materialistic gifts and all my loved ones know it. I switched off my cell phone and door bell and I spent my entire evening with my family." Karan Patel celebrates birthday with wife, friends

Actor Karan Patel, who turned 32 on Monday, gave a pre-birthday party to his co-stars from popular soap opera 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein'. Karan, along with the entire cast of the show including Divyanka Tripathi, Anita Hassanandani and Mihika Verma among others, enjoyed the celebrations on Sunday. “Karan's party was absolute fun. Everyone was totally high on dancing at his party,” Divyanka, who plays Karan's wife in the Star Plus show, said in a statement. Mihika shared that they all call Karan 'KP'. "He had personally invited everyone well in advance. He's a great and warm host and ensures to take care of everyone. His entire family along with his wife Ankita was present and it was great fun,” she said. Karan, who married Ankita Bhargava in May this year, has also starred in shows like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii', 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', 'Kasamh Se' and 'Kasturi'.

Casting director Gaurav Kaushal celebrates birthday with his family

Casting Director and aspiring filmmaker Gaurav Kaushal brought in his birthday with his family on November 19 night. He plans to throw a party for his industry friends and actors on November 22. The man, who has been associated with several renowned production houses and cast for serials including 'Uttaran', 'Savitri', 'Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se', 'Pukar', 'Lajwanti' and films like 'Bin Bulaye Baraati' along with several ad films says, "My friend Leena Srivastava arranged the party for me and only close friends and family were invited to it. Versatile actress, Mita Vashisht, who returned to the small screen with a new show ‘Kaala Teeka’ celebrated her 48th birthday on the sets with co-stars and unit members. Mita, who plays ‘Jethi Maa’ in Zee TV’s social drama, turned a year older on 2nd November.

Though the actress was working on her birthday, her co-stars made it extra-special for her. Mita was highly touched when she discovered the efforts the team had taken to decorate an entire room for the occasion.

There was a lovely message written for her on the dressing room mirror. Balloons and ribbons adorned the walls with ‘Happy B’day Mita’. It came as a total surprise for her as she was busy shooting and didn’t give attention to what was happening behind the scenes.

It was a double celebration for Mita as the show ‘Kaala Teeka’ went on-air the same day. She cut the birthday cake with her bubbly co-stars, Adaa Narang and Sargam Khurana. The trio made a cute picture and had great fun together.

TV actor Arjun Bijlani, who is soon be seen in 'Naagin' blows his birthday candles just before his new show premieres. The actor turns a year older today.

Arjun shared,"Yesterday, there was a small cake cutting at home with my wife Neha and son, Aayan. I am shooting today. Leter in the late evening, I am planning a small get-together with my friends."

He further revealed, "We won't be having anymore cake cuttings from now as my son Aayan is going to cut all the cakes. I feel satisfied when I see my son is happy." Karan plays the role of Rahul Sabharwal and he celebrated his day with his onscreen father Raj Sabharwal and others in the family. Karan says, “It was such a sweet gesture by my family on the sets. I got a cake shaped like the guitar to go not just with my onscreen character but since I’m big time into music it was a personal thing, too.”

Rashmi Sharma’s special birthday cake for her director husband: Telly producer Rashmi Sharma, along with Anand and Rupa Pandit, threw a surprise pre-birthday bash for her producer-director husband Pawan. The bash, which was Rashmi’s ‘small gesture for her shy husband’, was more like a get together with friends and cast of their popular shows including 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya', 'Swaragini' and 'Sasural Simar Ka'. Rashmi says, “Pawanji doesn’t like to celebrate his birthday. When asked what her actor husband, Ravi Dubey is going to gift her, on the special day, Sargun replied, "Ravi always put in a lot of efforts for my birthday. This year I have told him to go easy and get nothing. Like I said, he is more excited than me for the party. I know whatever he will do will be perfect. If he and my family are around it will make me more happy. We are also shifting to our new house this year. He has already gifted me a beautiful house.
