Located on the Warsaw’s historic centre in Old Town and adjacent to the Castle Square, St Anne’s Church is a striking white edifice with Neo-classical façade. It has been destroyed and reconstructed many times but the present look has remained unchanged since 1788. Considered to be among the most important churches for the academic community, the most dominating aspect is the facade with four beautifully carved Evangelists. The interior of the church is done in Baroque style and has many chapels and impressive frescoes as well as a diamond vault in the cloister.
