Locanda Del Ghetto is only a 3 star hotel but it offers a unique and special stay experience in Venice with a friendly home away from home atmosphere. The hotel is a piece of history, set in a 15th century building and is located in the heart of the Venetian Ghetto area, directly underneath the Schola Italiana Synagogue. The Locanda is situated in the less touristy and more laidback Cannaregio district and is a roughly 25 minute walk to St Mark's Square.
The Locanda del Ghetto offers characterful rooms with parquet floors and some even still have the original ceiling beam decorations. Rooms also have air-conditioning, a TV, mini-bar and en suite bathroom. The first hour of Wi-Fi access is free and the hotel serves a generous kosher breakfast that includes plenty of fresh croissants, fruit and bread.
