Take a little trip to North Africa
It's worth having a light snack before brunching at Medina, because the weekend queues can be brutal. But if you're looking for something more than scrambled eggs, this two-storey rustic styled cafe is definitely worth the wait.
As its name suggests, Medina is a Moroccan affair, but with subtle Canadian sensibility. In other words, there's a ribs dish. Waffles, too - try one with white chocolate pistachio rosewater sauce. Eggy tajines add exotic edge to the brunch menu, while lunch time spells halloumi flatbreads and spicy Moroccan lamb meatball dishes.
