According to the reports published by a leading lifestyle website, the resort bakery has used 820 pounds of royal icing and 1840 pounds of gingerbread. To make it special even for children, the Sea Island resort has allowed them entry for private decorating tours. Children can drop in and design their own gingerbread house with gumdrops, candy canes etc. Adults can also have their cake (and the treats) and eat it too that are served everyday from the gingerbread cottage’s window.
Besides the gingerbread cottage, there are other attractions being offered by the resort for Christmas. News has it that the 2020 version of Christmas at Sea Island is a fresh take on the classic Sea Island festivities like the Reindog Parade at the Beach Club, storytime with Santa’s Elves in the Clubroom, ornament decorating classes, Children’s Christmas Party at the Beach Club, Christmas Eve family-style dinner in The Cloister Ballroom, and much more.
