Sharlene Cartwright Robinson, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, made this announcement on Friday and said that the new guidelines and all the other specifications regarding this will be shared in the coming weeks.
She further said, “Our intention is to cautiously reboot the tourism sector, laying the foundation for short- and long-term recovery.”
According to the tourist boards, the hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, bars, and tour operators are preparing themselves to accept bookings for future holidays. Not only this, the moment these islands are all ready and prepared with all safety measures, flight services will also resume from within the United States of America, Canada, and Europe, as of now.
Private jet terminals are also all set to open on July 22, however, the Grand Turk Cruise Center will remain closed until August 31.
