This vegan, greenhouse-waterfront, isolated dining restaurant is a hit in Amsterdam

A restaurant in Amsterdam has joined the league of eateries that are setting up good examples on maintaining social distancing while also offering a good dining out experience to their guests.

According to the latest reports, the waterfront Mediamatic ETEN restaurant has established separate greenhouses where guests can completely isolate from each other without compromising on the quality of meals and gorgeous views of the city’ canals. Situated in a greenhouse on the waterfront, this vegan restaurant and bar specialises in locally-sourced food.In addition, the restaurants will soon switch to serving food on large wooden planks to avoid direct contact of the wait staff with the guests. The staff also wear face shields and gloves to ensure all safety protocols are followed by them.
Reportedly, the restaurant calls these individual greenhouses chambre séparée and they are best suited for people living together. Private dinners comprising four-course meals for two persons cost upto €110 in a private Serres Séparées and €90 at the Grande Serre.

On social media, this concept of greenhouse waterfront dining has earned several likes for Mediamatic ETEN for its efforts in providing safe and healthy dining experience during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
