Sorrento in Italy to fine people roaming around shirtless or in swimsuit

Sorrento, a beautiful town in Italy, has announced that it will levy a fine on those roaming around on the streets shirtless or in swimsuits. The new rule has taken people by surprise. The order was passed by the town's Mayor, Massimo Coppola, last week where he has banned people from walking indecently. Anyone disobeying the orders will face a fine from 25 to 500 Euros.

Coppola, on his Facebook profile, wrote, "No more indecent behavior. Sorrento is increasingly recognized in the world as the capital of tourism and quality hospitality and these behaviors can constitute an element of discomfort and discomfort for both Sorrentines and tourists. In this way we want to protect and improve the livability of the city, the quality of life and the decor within the center and public spaces."
Sorrento police will keep a tab on such people and see to it that the rule is followed. Police will start patrolling the region to enforce the latest ban, as per the local reports.
