Residents of Al-Jawf woke up to a stunning landscape transformed by pristine white snow blanketing the mountains. The Saudi Press Agency highlighted that the significant precipitation not only led to snow but also created waterfalls, revitalizing the valleys and infusing the region with life. This winter scene signals a refreshing shift as the country moves into the colder season, setting the stage for the vibrant spring that Al-Jawf is renowned for. In spring, the region comes alive with seasonal wildflowers like lavender, chrysanthemum, and various aromatic plants, adding even more charm to its natural beauty.
The Saudi weather department has issued alerts for ongoing severe weather in the days ahead. Thunderstorms are anticipated across much of Al-Jawf, with forecasts calling for heavy rain and hail that may reduce visibility. Strong winds are also expected to accompany these storms, leading officials to advise residents to exercise caution.

The weather department in the UAE attributed these changes to low-pressure systems extending from the Arabian Sea toward Oman, affecting weather conditions across the region.
