Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who personally visited Pithoragarh to oversee the preparations ahead of the PM's visit, emphasised the eagerness and emotional attachment that the people of Uttarakhand have for him. He highlighted the substantial development and transformative initiatives that have been adopted by the state, drawing a parallel with the impressive progress that the Kedarkhand region experienced after Mr. Modi assumed the office of Prime Minister.
In his remarks, Dhami noted the remarkable developments in Kedarkhand, which included the construction of all-weather char dham roads, reconstruction projects in Badrinath and Kedarnath, building the Kedarnath-Hemkund ropeway, initiation of the Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail link, and the expansion of the Dehradun airport. He added that much like Kedarkhand, Manaskhand would undergo an era of expansion and prosperity following Prime Minister Modi's visit.
