Reportedly, Madhya Pradesh state government and MP Tourism Board will be organising both the dance festivals; it has been witnessed that cultural activities are on the rise in the region. Moreover, as the Coronavirus crisis is gradually subsiding, authorities are gearing up to organise these festivals this month.
Reports have it that the Khajuraho Dance Festival 2021 will be organised from February 20 to 26 by Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet & Kala Academy in Bhopal. As per the sources, the event will be focusing on Indian classical dance styles this year. During this event, eminent artists from around the country and the world will be gathering to enthral audiences with their dance performances.
Regarding the Mandu Festival, Shivshekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, State Department of Culture and Tourism said that the festival will be held in the ancient city of Mandu, when many interesting aspects of the historic city would also be showcased. Reportedly, Kabir Cafe as well as other local artists and independent music bands would also be participating in the event.
