Man makes fake website selling Taj Mahal ticket, gets arrested

The Taj Mahal is one of the most important places of interest in India, and people it is always on the top of the list for travellers. Now, a person has been arrested for duping hundreds of people for creating a fake website for online booking of historical monuments, which includes the Taj Mahal. The man reportedly made a fake website for easy money.
The Director General of Archeological Survey of India, and the Ministry of Culture got a complaint about people getting cheated when they were booking tickets for historical monuments in the country. One of the victims booked a ticket from the website www. agramonuments.in, and complained of being duped.
The victim who booked the ticket at agramonuments.in, paid for the ticket, but it did not get generated. A case was registered regarding this.
According to the Special CP, Crime, Devesh Chandra Srivastava, “Durinng the course of investigation, technical details of the registrant and user of the alleged website i.e. www.agramonumnts.in were collected, based on which technical surveillance was mounted on the alleged. The accused frequently changed his location. However on perseverance, Sandeep Chand was apprehended from Champawat, Uttrakhand.”
The Taj Mahal is a white marble structure that was built way back in 1643. It has become a symbol of love for the world, and is one of the wonders of the world.
