About four inches of new snow has accumulated in the shrine. Before this, there was heavy snowfall in the shrine last Friday as well. Due to the bad weather, devotees and officials are facing discomfort. In the shrine, the temperature has been dropping since the afternoon for the past three to four days.
Meanwhile, in Badrinath also there was substantial snowfall on Saturday morning. The weather in and around the shrine kept changing throughout the day, and devotees braved the cold to have a glimpse of the deity. On Saturday morning, light rain began around 5 PM.

After some time, it started to snow in the shrine, which continued until around 8 AM in the morning. This led to the entire shrine being covered in a white blanket of snow.
The surrounding peaks of the shrine have also been covered with a layer of thick snow. Although around 10 AM, the weather cleared up a bit, the snowfall has significantly increased the cold in the shrine. By the afternoon, most of the snow in the shrine had melted, but snow has accumulated in the mountains.
