The flood of faith in Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, has been overwhelming since the temple doors were opened on May 10. More than 20,000 devotees have been arriving daily, resulting in long queues forming since dawn. Despite the conclusion of business activities in Kedarnath, the enthusiasm among pilgrims remained unwavering.
The devotees are receiving impeccable darshan arrangements by the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, ensuring a seamless experience. Darshan timings span from early morning until late evening, accommodating over 1,700 devotees every hour. The total visitor count includes 49,144 men, 25,002 women, and 991 children, along with two foreign women devotees of Lord Shiva.
To facilitate rituals and cleaning procedures, the temple briefly closes at 3 pm daily, reopening for darshan from 4 to 6:30 pm. Special pujas, both pre-booked and conducted by the temple committee, commence from 11 pm onwards, catering to the spiritual needs of devotees. Amidst the divine aura and sacred rituals, Kedarnath Dham continues to be a beacon of faith and devotion for countless devotees.
