He noted that the tourist spot experienced a remarkable surge in visitors last year, with a record-breaking 310,000 tourists, marking a significant threefold increase compared to previous years.
Ghalib Mohiuddin Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Aharbal Development Authority (ADA), noted the increase in tourist activity at Aharbal following the recent snowfall. "The snow-covered Aharbal has witnessed a surge in tourists, which is expected to boost the local business sector," he explained.
Tourists visiting Aharbal were greeted with awe-inspiring views of snow-clad trees and mountains, evoking a sense of wonder and tranquility.
Shah highlighted that all routes leading to the tourist destination are now free of snow, urging all tourists to come and experience the breathtaking beauty of this winter wonderland. He also assured ample accommodation and facilities for both local visitors and tourists.
