Jharkhand government allows darshan at Baidyanath Jyotirlinga to statespeople

The state government of Jharkhand has allowed darshan to devotees at the Baidyanath Joytirlinga in a statement issued on August 26. Only the residents of Jharkhand can visit the temple for now, not more than 50 people in an hour. The circular issued by the authorities also state that entry to the temple should ideally be done via an online system. Also, visitors would be allowed to stay on the premises for no more than four hours.The development has been reported by ANI, "Jharkhand Government allows residents of the State for darshan at Baidyanath Jyotirlinga temple at Deoghar; the number of persons visiting the temple shall not exceed 50 per hour."
It has to be noted that the temple premises and anyone intending to visit the same would have to stick to some strict guidelines to minimise the chances of COVID-19 infection. Visitors will have to maintain social distancing as well as stick to all the related guildelines as laid by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
