Renderings were recently released, which are being created by a UK-based architectural and design firm, whereas the master plan of the airport has been designed by Egis, a well-known engineering group.
Referring to this, the Amaala resort said that the design of the said luxury airport has been inspired by the surrounding environment, thereby resulting in a mesmerizing mirage effect. It further added that the terminal will be complemented with unique artwork and contemporary interiors to offer tailored experiences to the travellers. Apart from this, the airport will also reflect the ultra-luxury spirit of the Amaala resort, which will provide exclusive private-club experience to the travellers.
As regarding the Amaala resort, it is located in 4155 sq km of the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Natural Reserve. Touted as a 'year-round destination', when it will be all ready to welcome guests, it will be equipped with 2500 hotel rooms, apartments, estate homes, more than 800 residential villas, along with other establishments. The resort is expected to be ready in all phases by 2028.
