This fair is held every year in the month of February; however, the schedule was revised this year due to the Coronavirus. Revealing more details, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar added that this time Jammu and Kashmir will be the ‘partner state’ in the 35th edition of the fair.
While addressing the press conference, he stated that artists from 20 countries will be taking part in the fair, where e-Ticketing will be made available this time.
As per Haryana Tourism department’s website, thousands of visitors attend the Surajkund Mela every year, as it showcases the richness and diversity of the handlooms, handicrafts, and cultural fabric of India, and is the world’s largest crafts fair.
The theme state of 35th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2022 is Jammu & Kashmir, which will be presenting its distinct culture and rich legacy via handicrafts and art forms. Artists from Jammu and Kashmir will give indigenous performances, and there will be stalls from where you can get items, and exquisite crafts that are exclusive to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Timings: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Ticket price: INR 120 per person (weekday), INR 180 per person (weekend)
