Hong Kong is going to shorten the quarantine period for vaccinated travellers from 14 days down to 7 days. However, there is a catch here, such travellers are required to show that they have enough antibodies against the coronavirus.
Sophia Chan, who is the Secretary for Food and Health, also added that certain pandemic rules will be eased, such as restaurants and bars will be able to increase their capacity from June 24. But such rules will be applicable for vaccinated residents of Hong Kong.
On the other hand, corporations in Hong Kong have started rewarding vaccinated employees, while some others have even made it clear that pay rises can be denied, and lay offs can occur if vaccines are not taken. Hong Kong has asked businesses to allow day offs for employees for vaccinations.
