Chamba is noted for its gorgeous destinations such as Khajjiar and Dalhousie. The Deputy Commissioner of Chamba, on a surprise inspection of these towns, found tourists breaking all the safety protocols. The administration warned ill-behaved tourists of strict action if they do not follow the safety rules shared by the state and the Centre. The administration also distributed masks among tourists.
The new guidelines issued by the state government also ask stakeholders to follow ‘no mask, no service’ rules and ensure social distancing. Strict action would be taken against the violators.
