A four-day complete lockdown has been declared by the Goa government now amidst the COVID crisis that is crippling the country. The complete lockdown is going to start on the evening of April 29, and end on May 3. This lockdown will ensure that all activities, including, tourism will stop for the time being. This includes all casinos, restaurants, and more.
Those tourists who are coming into Goa during this time, will be permitted to stay in their hotels, but they cannot go out. From the evening of April 29 to the morning of May 3, such tourists must remain within the confines of their accommodation.
Goa recorded 2110 new COVID-19 cases, and 31 deaths, and thus the complete lockdown decision has now been taken. Goa now has 1086 deaths due to coronavirus.
