Rajasthan jumps to 7th position in the new tourism rankings

Rajasthan has secured seventh spot in the new tourism rankings.This only shows how Rajasthan tourism is booming day by day! There has been a massive boost in national and international visitors in the state, surpassing 100 million by September in 2023. It has marked a significant recovery from the pre-Covid era.

Rajasthan's tourism ranking has gone up from 11th to 7th spot on national and international scales for 2023, all thanks to the intelligent tourism policies. One of the prime policies of the authorities behind this success was their airport branding to attract international tourists.

Rajasthan Tourism did the branding at 289 locations in 18 airports in India, including Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, and several other prime Indian cities.

Additionally, the department has been actively promoting tourism through metro trains in cities including Kolkata, Lucknow, Chennai, and Hyderabad, among others. The department also reached out to different train routes.

Rajasthan Tourism also showed its presence inside prominent trains such as Ahmedabad-Mumbai, Jaipur-Delhi, and Shatabdi Secunderabad-Pune, among others. All the trains have advertising campaigns, running in the LCD and LED screens.

The success also goes to the promotional films that were shown at 1000 screens across multiplexes and cinema halls in 24 major cities. They also have a strong digital presence and know their audience.

Also, their social media presence has grown profoundly. Rajasthan Tourism’s official Instagram account has a whooping 13.6 million impressions, 6 million on Facebook, and 3.5 million on other platforms.
