Here’s a new travel update from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE has announced a new change to their existing travel guidelines: any passenger with a single name on their passport will not be allowed to travel to or from the UAE. Your name on the passport needs to have both first and last name.
The rule is for all and all kinds of visas (tourist and work visa).
However, if you have a single name and have a residence permit or an employment visa, in that case, travel will be allowed as long as the single name is updated on the passport as both first and last name.
