Explore Darjeeling and Dooars with IRCTC’s special Durga Puja packages

IRCTC is here with two exciting packages especially for the holiday season for those who need to make plans in advance for the Durga Puja holidays. These two special package tours are to the tea-country Darjeeling and the Dooars.

If reports are to go by, these special trips will be of six days and five nights each, starting from Sealdah Station on October 21, the day of Saptami. Each of these special trips will accommodate 30 seats, with the Darjeeling Trip for INR 21,000 per person, and the Dooars trip for INR 18,850 per person.

One of the main aims of these trips is to explore and get to know the offbeat places that we would normally skip.


As per reports, the package cost will cover expenses including train tickets, fooding, lodging, local transportation and sightseeing. For tourists taking these packages, stays in deluxe hotels, and cars for sightseeing and transportation will be provided. For those opting for the Dooars package, there will be special Bengali Thali as well added to their package.



For anyone planning a holiday to West Bengal, Darjeeling and the Dooars region are obvious choices. Not only because of the natural beauty, but also because of the rich cultural diversity, rich heritage, fun experiences and a lot of being in nature.
