Tourism in Canada is all set to return after two long months of lockdown, as the beautiful mountain town of Banff gets ready to reopen for visitors. According to Mayor Karen Sorenson, Banff is ready to welcome guests, and is well prepared for social distancing. So pack your masks and sanitizers, as the town would like you to bring your own set.
Known for its exciting nightlife, museums, restaurants, and more, Banff is an experience to remember. With nature at its very best, the town has always been a travel inspiration. However, one must be aware that services in Banff are not completely operational as yet, as the mayor pointed out that not all the hotels and shops are open for business in Banff. The mayor further said that people can now get into their cars and drive to Banff, which perhaps means domestic visitors.
Canada is also reopening its national parks. As per news reports, 29 out of 48 are going to open for visitors, only during the day. The list includes some of the favourites among tourists, such as Banff, Pacific Rim, and Cape Breton Highlands. They are set to reopen on June 1.
