Covid restrictions extended in Arunachal Pradesh until February 14

Travellers going to Arunachal Pradesh need to be aware that the state has extended its covid restrictions until February 14, 2022. The state is planning to extend the restrictions with slight modifications. The state has decided to keep all commercial establishments, businesses, and workplaces operating with 50 percent attendance until 8 pm.
Arunachal Pradesh will also impose a night curfew during this time, which will start after 9 pm, and end at 5 am. So, if you are travelling to the state before 14 February, you must keep that in mind. Furthermore, it should be kept in mind that visitors are not permitted to enter into government offices during this period of time.

The state is one of the most gorgeous ones in the northeast region, and has been so for a long time. It is not as explored as Assam or Meghalaya, but once you get into it, you realise that it is full of hidden treasures for travellers.
The state reported 129 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 324 in total, but no casualty was reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll remains at 286 in Arunachal Pradesh. 58848 people have recovered from COVID-19 so far in the state, which includes 324 people who recovered in the last 24 hours. The state is however being cautious, and planning to keep the restrictions for a while longer.
