Reports have it that those who are partially vaccinated, unvaccinated, or symptomatic of COVID-19 will continue to be required to produce a negative RT-PCR test report that is not older than 48 hours before their scheduled departure.
The administration also asked the airlines to make sure that COVID appropriate behaviour is followed. As reported earlier, the authorities in February announced the opening of all tourist spots for tourism activities. There is no longer restriction on movement, and night curfew has also been withdrawn.
Also, as per the reports, the Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair is scheduled to remain closed for four days a week till May 2022 for runway repair works.
