Abu Dhabi starts free COVID testing at airports

Now travellers going to Abu Dhabi will have it easy as airports there have launched a free COVID-19 PCR testing for arrivals. The rapid testing will be done for all passengers, except for those in transit. As per reports, the result of this rapid test will be out in 90 minutes.
The new rapid COVID-19 test is an initiative of Abu Dhabi airports in partnership with Pure Health and Tamouh Healthcare. The latest state-of-the-art lab for RT-PCR testing will be able to help air travel procedures, and also extend support to quarantine tracking. The high-end lab is able to test more than 20000 travellers, and staff on a daily basis.
The best thing about this testing facility is that it is free for passengers who are arriving at Abu Dhabi. Moreover, 90 minutes is quite a short span of time to know the result of your test. The result of the test will be shared with passengers through WhatsApp or SMS.

The measure has been taken in order to stop the spread of the virus in Abu Dhabi. It also allows travellers an easier way to get tested, without much hassle.
According to the latest rules, passengers who get negative in their test results and are from the list of green countries, are not required to quarantine. Passengers from other countries will be required to quarantine for 10 days. Moreover, such passengers will have to wear a quarantine wristband fitted on them.
