Just couple of hours away from Delhi, Mukteshwar is a quaint little place in the lap of Himalayas. It is located in Kumaon hills at an altitude of 7500 ft. Zip-lining can be done at a place called chauli-ki-jali along with other adventure sports like rock-climbing and rappelling. Summers here are pleasantly warm, May and June are the best months to visit as it’s the harvest time for fruits like pear, peach and plums that grow in abundance here. If you want to experience snow go in winters but be prepared for subzero temperatures.
