Bygone high-end bric-a-brac

Noteworthy for: Zaoum is a treasure trove of well restored retro objects, both large and small.
Packed with attractive objects created between 1930 and 1970, Zaoum is a great place to come to pick up anything from old furniture to jewellery. Some objects, such as their selection of 1950s ceramics, can be genuinely beautiful, but with a witty appreciation of yesteryear's cast-offs, Zaoum also stocks some sillier, more gift-friendly pieces, such as oddly shaped ashtrays and old tourist souvenirs.

The real care with which Zaoum's objects are selected and restored comes with a price tag - the shop isn't exactly cheap - but as a place to browse through unique retro objects, it's still recommended.
