Once you are done soaking in the art and indulging in conversations at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, hop over to the banks at Fort Kochi. That is where you will find the world famous Chinese fishing nets, looking over spectacular sunsets. Grab a naariyal paani and soak in the vibe, as a striking molten orange takes over every other colour here.

Fort Kochi is peppered with a number of landmarks that are a definite draw for those into culture and history. While here, do not miss out the St Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Bastion Bungalow, Aspinwall House (a major venue for the Kochi-Muziris Biennale), Thakur House, David Hall and many more.

Kochi is home to some strikingly good restaurants, places that believe food to be as revered as art. Kerala has a culture that is quite varied and interesting, and if you are in Kochi for the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, there is no missing on it. When here, you should definitely go for live performances of Kathakali and Kalaripayattu. Tickets for different venues are available at the major tourist spots; you can also your hotel staff or driver to help you with the same.

Other than these, Alleppey is a beautiful drive of around 2 hours and can definitely be covered in a day. While you should spend more time here, a customary dekko of the backwaters can be clubbed with some days at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
