Water World is all about dangerous theatrics and is an attraction based on a film of the same name. Set in a dystopian future, the story revolves around Helen and the Mariner trying to run away from the evil Smokers so as to find inhabitable dry land because, unfortunately, all of the polar caps have melted. While the movie unfortunately bombed at the box office and failed to impress critics, the show at the Universal Studios has amassed immense popularity and is one of the most highly rated features of the theme park. The 15 minute long show focuses on water, air and land stunts that are a result of fascinating special effects. With an exclusive soundtrack and major simulated explosions that include an elaborate and very believable plane crash, you are in for a thrilling experience. Given an all new cast that engages in some death-defying stunts, you will be amazed at how good these performers are at what they do.

The front seats of the viewing arena are designated ‘Soak’ and ‘Splash’ zones and you should therefore totally prepare yourself to get wet. Carry an extra set of clothes or a raincoat if possible and don’t let all that water intimidate you. Owing to the gunshots, loud detonations and scary fire and water elements, this attraction is unfortunately not very child-friendly.
