Among the first things that greet visitors after entering Phillip Island is the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory. A bit nondescript from outside, it is a chocolate-lover’s dreamland. Inside, a path takes visitors through the process of chocolate making and provides them information about everything from the beans and their harvesting to the finished product. You can also watch the process of chocolate making from behind the glass walls. There is a host of interactive games all involving buttons, levers and skills, and chocolates as prizes. Visitors can also try their hand at creating designs. But the most intriguing and jaw-dropping aspect is the chocolate waterfall through which tumbles 400 kg of liquid chocolate every three minutes! It certainly is a chocolate lover’s dream come true.
